Mind like a steel trap!

I was reading Lily a bedtime story about the life cycle of frogs (I know, I know... but she chose it!) and I'd only read "Frogs live most of the time in or near water" when she interrupted me and said, "Animals that can live in and out of the water are called amphibians."

I'll admit, I thought maybe frogs were reptiles, but I didn't correct her because I had no definition for amphibians... then I kept reading the darn book and a couple of sentences later it said "Frogs can live in water and on land. Animals that can do this are called amphibians."

We hadn't read this book to her yet. I guess this was something she picked up from preschool. Wowsa.
