Fun fair fun

We survived Lily's school fun fair and i didn't take a single photo. It seemed to have been a huge hit, though. We ran the ticket counter for an hour (both kids had lollipops; Lukasz handed out stamp passes and Lily gave change and put
money in the money box), played lots of games like tossing tp rolls in a toilet, bowling, tossing big fuzzy snakes on a ladder, basketball, football toss, plinko, and stood in a loooong line for 3 minutes in a bouncy castle. The kids filled up their stamp passes (they got one stamp for each game played) and got to turn their pass in for a candy jar! Lukasz got one filled with coke bottle gummies and Lily got one filled with caramels (groan) and hard candies.

But the best part of the whole night (for me anyway)?

While they were eating hot dogs, a first grader named Donna who knows Lily came and sat with us while she ate her hot dog. She looked at me intently for a moment and then said, "You look more like Lily's sister than her mom."

Wooo hooo!!!!!!
