Birds on our birdseed bell

A very exciting happening! Lukasz spotted them while he was having some food at the dining room table and promptly sounded the alarm.

After doing some research, we discovered they are black-capped chickadees. I played a video for the kids so they could hear this bird's song, and now Lukasz is playing with his eggs and saying, "chicka-dee-dee-dee-dee" over and over.

We have heard another bird that makes a song like "twee twoo", and I've seen a small songbird with reddish feathers on its head, but I'm not sure if the two are the same, or what kind of bird these would be.

It's exciting to see what little birds we have in our neighbourhood, and our balcony provides the perfect place to view them. :)
