And again it's after 9 p.m. and Lily and Lukasz are still up and running around. Lily's perfectly reasonable explanation for this persistent bedtime tardiness is: "But it's still DAYTIME!"
I used to think it was so great that it stayed light out till 9:30 in the summer... sigh.
So while we are trying to wrestle the kids into their pyjamas, Tom asks Lukasz, "Hey Lukasz, are we going to brush your teeth or what?"
Lukasz replied, "Um. What." and continued on his merry way.
