Singing to my children

Lately it's become a tradition for me to sing the kids a few songs just before they go to sleep. Lily has a complete song list for me each night:

Lua lua
Moon, moon
Jack and Jill
Polly put the kettle on
Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star
Baa, baa black sheep

And then Lukasz usually requests 2 more Moon, moons. Tonight as I said my goodnights and kind of hoped I could sneak out without singing because I have an awful headache, I heard him pipe up as I kissed him "Lua? Moon?"

He's taken to chiming in on the last word of each song... and tonight when they insisted that Tatus and I do a duet of Baa baa, black sheep after I'd sung Lua lua and Moon, moon, Lukasz chimed in with the last word of each line like this:

Baa baa black sheep have you any WOOL
Yes sir, yes sir, three bags FULL
One for the master, one for the DAME
And one for the little boy who lives down the LANE

Afterwards, Lily congratulated Lukasz on singing the "whole song" with us. :)
