A day of decorating

Today we started decorating the house for Christmas. Tatus set our little tree up (this is our first year together having an artificial tree and we were pleasantly surprised at how it turned out) and the kids helped decorate.

Lukasz was fascinated by the tree lights as we checked to make sure they all worked before putting them on the tree. (Tatus was right beside him the whole time making sure he was safe.)

Lily put the first decoration on the tree - an apple. They, along with some glittery plastic balls are "her" tree decorations.

She proved to be a natural at untangling the strings and hanging the apples and balls... they all ended up on about 4 branches though. :)

Lukasz wanted to help, too!

After the tree was done and Lukasz was in bed, I read Lily Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, a book I have had since I was 2 years old.
