Christmas in Kelowna

On the 27th we drove to Kelowna to celebrate a belated Christmas and have a little mini-holiday... and to see UNCLE DEREK who is coming home for a few days from the UK.

The drive over the mountains was... mucky. But Lily and Lukasz both slept part of the way, so it was a pretty easy drive.

The view we wait for that tells us we're almost there:

The kids glommed onto Uncle Shane, as usual. :)
Grampa helped Lukasz open his gifts, here he got a little popping train to push around.
Beautiful Gran. :)
Lily's shown an increasing interest in music and dancing, so much so that we are starting a music class in the new year! So she received a jungle-themed musical instrument set from Santa. :)
Here are Gran and Grampa opening their big gift from all of us kids...
Here's Grampa after assembling part of their big gift - poang chairs for the downstairs!Lily trying out her elephant whistle:

Bows!
More bows!
