For a while now, Lily has called strawberries "sa-bee-days". Today, however, she informed me that they are not "sa-bee-days". They are now "sscha-beh-wees".
I love listening to her pronunciations of different words, and how they change as time goes on. She also used to call chicken "chin-chin", but not anymore. Now if I tell her we are going to have chin-chin for dinner she'll correct me, saying "It's CHICK-en!"
She also used to call butterflies "buh-fuh-hiys" but now they are "buh-fuh-lies".
And she recently tried pronouncing blueberries..."blu-ble-wees".
Oh, and another one. She used to call blankets, or blankies a "bankie". Now they are "bank-lets". :)
