A wonderful summer walk

TodayLily, Lukasz and I went for a walk around a tiny lake near our home. We don't often go here because, well, it's a lot of work for me pushing the stroller in the wood chip trail and keeping Lily on the trail. But it's a lovely walk. So peaceful. When we got there, Lily decided to chase the pigeons. They were not impressed.
So then she was happy just watching them waddle around, pecking at the grass to eat.
Lily loves holes. And rocks. So to find a hole with rocks in it was a double treat.
Yay! You half-smiled! (Actually, at my first attempt she was reaching for the camera.)
Ah, yes, the newest coolest sound.

PLOP! (video)

The ducks thought she was dropping food. Silly ducks.
Canadian geese

Lukasz was awake for a good part of the walk, but when we got about 3/4 of the way around the lake, he flaked--just in time for Lily to play in the playground.

Static, anyone? :)
