HAPPY 31st BIRTHDAY TATUS!!!

Today was a wonderful day. We relaxed in the morning, ...then got some serious giggles when Gran brought out some goofy sunglasses and a funny hat...

We packed up and went to the beach, and Gran and Grampa came, too! Then Gran and Grampa put together a FABULOUS bbq of hamburgers with all the fixings, potato salad, chips, and so much more. :)

After that Tatus and Lily opened Tatus' presents--he received a kite from Lily and Lukasz, a date to a comedy club and the game Mastermind from me, chocolates, coffee, a tea bag holder, and a book of all kinds of coffee recipes, tips and tricks from Uncle Shane, Gran & Grampa.

And then it was time for... cake! A delicious chocolate cake with rich chocolate icing that I and (mostly) Gran made the night before.

Then, all too soon it was time to drive home again. But we'll be back out there on the August long weekend, to celebrate Lily's 2nd birthday!
