Getting picky

Lukasz has started showing signs of being picky lately. First, if his bib is dirty at all (say when he's sitting down for his second helping of lunch and I put the bib from his first helping of lunch back on him and there are a few grains of rice in it), he will point and "tell" me that it's dirty and he won't eat till it's clean. He actually checks his bib as soon as I put it on him.

Secondly, he knows to get shoes when it's time to go out or when he wants to go out. He'll bring me his shoes, or my shoes, and stick them in my face while saying pleadingly, "pweeeeeeeeeeeeease?" When we all go out, I obviously choose if he wears his sandals or his running shoes. Not so any more. Now HE picks out his shoes/sandals and if we try to put the other on him, he refuses, kicking his feet or rolling away. I can at least reason with Lily, telling her she needs to wear her shoes instaed of sandals because we are going to the park and the wood chips will get stuck in her sandals... but there's no reasoning with the Wooch. Yet.
