Hearing a child learn how to speak has got to be one of my favourite stages of motherhood so far. Lukasz's vocabulary is growing by leaps and bounds. One of my favourite things to hear him say is "thank you". He used to say gang goo but now it's progressed to chee koo.
It's always fun to try to decipher their new words, too. He has a temporary tattoo of a shark on his arm, and when he was in the bath one evening he kept saying "shock! shock!" I kept looking in the bath thinking I'd forgotten to take one of his socks off, but turns out he was saying "shark". :o)
